The Holiday Trip

Cost of fancy shoes for the holiday weekend:  ok well that's nobody's business and besides one pair was on sale last year:

Time spent with family deciding when where and what to eat, for every meal, times my normal hourly work rate: pricey but that's life and everybody understands because everybody has a family!  (Can we just eat already?)

Cost of random early morning internet shoe shopping waiting for everybody to wake up after the massive meal: (last pair? Yikes! Buy!)

Money spent buying fabric I don't need because if you are near Mood Fabrics you have to!  Enough...

Various gift cards for Mom and Pat for sending me cute pics of the animals while they were animal sitting? Can't say. They read this blog.

Getting to take a selfie with the best mother in law ever?

Priceless!

It's Beginning To Feel A Lot Like Christmas...

Shoe Sales!

I first saw em this summer, put em in the Saks shopping cart, and waited.  And checked and waited.  And checked again...that's like checking a list twice in Christmas parlance.  And finally they went on sale, had one left in my size, and made their way here thru winter storms and the California stormageddon...and they are suede and so can't wear em til the puddles dry out, but they are here and they are mine and they were worth the wait!  Because if you know ME, you know I like a good pink. And if you DON'T  know me, you figure it out quick.

And the outtake!
