Three Years and One Week Later

Still owning the couch.  Or, why me mum can't seem to get my sweater done...

Today is Gotcha Day!

Three years ago today we got Jack. And the couch hasn't been the same since!!!

So What Am I Grateful For Today?

More like what's not to be grateful for?

One great dog...

A coupla great cats...

A baseball team that is rockin and rollin...

And a few pairs of fab shoes tucked away in shopping carts...(see 2 prior posts).

And a whole lotta other good stuff.

Moral to the story?

Life is good!

Oh. Apparently There IS Always Another Pair of Shoes...

Sigh.

These Ash boots will rest in the shopping cart until they (hopefully) go on sale.  Let's see if my mojo works on these!

So My Friend Pat Says

Allison, there will always be another pair of shoes.  As in, I don't have to buy every pair I see.  (To clarify, it's not that she thinks I shouldn't have them, she just says it when I'm torturing myself over whether or not to buy the next pair.)

Ok well maybe she's right and maybe she's not but let's just say for arguments' sake she is.

The backstory: those of you who know me know I love a Valentino Rockstud Flat.  And I've loved them more than just a few times...but I digress.

Anyhoo, I've been saying that if they come out with a dark green I may just have to jump and get 'em (remember I've sworn off shoe shopping for a...um...while?

So wouldn't you know I'm midnight website window shopping and suddenly I see that one of their new fall colors is my perfect green!

Arghh.  And there are only two pair left!  Double Arghh.

So the question is...do I return these babies I haven't worn yet to get the green I promised myself?  (And oh ps Pat thinks I should keep these.)

Or do I listen to Pat.  I don't have to get every pair of shoes I see...

But you know, I think she might agree, I might just to have these...

And as to the return issue?
